Bandon is located 31 kms west of Cork City. Take the road signs indicating West Cork and follow the N71 to Bandon via the small village of Innishannon. Appox. travelling time from city centre is forty minutes.

Due to its location as the Gateway to West Cork, the town of Bandon is well serviced by Bus Eireann.
Travelling by Bus:
From Cork City Bus Station on Parnell Place, Bus No. 252 departs at 9.00 a.m. and will arrive to Bandon at 9.45 a.m. The Bus Eireann Bus Stop is situated directly before a small car park on left. Upon exiting the bus, proceed on footpath and walk directly ahead for approx 150 metres. Take due care crossing the road. The Gateway Building entrance is located to the right of the Funky Fish Youth Cafe and to the left of the Recharge Cartridge Business. Worship is upstairs on the first floor and commences at 10.00 a.m. Approx. walking time from bus stop to Gateway - under five minutes.
Buses return to Cork city from the Bus Stop (located near Kellehers Hardware store) on left hand side of the main road to Cork. Due care is required crossing the road, there is a pedestrian crossing over the bridge to the left as one exits the Gateway Building (approx. 30 metres from Gateway). Bus No. 236 departs at 11.45 a.m. and arrives into Cork City at 12.25 p.m.. Bus No. 237 departs at 12.20 p.m. and arrives into Cork City at 13.00 p.m.
